I made a mosaic out of some of the vintage white items I have been photographing. I really don't have a lot of white in my decorating. We have raised three boys and it hasn't been that practical. But, I am leaning toward it more all the time as they get older. I absolutely love all the blogs that have so much white and shabby chic style. That was my style before the children. It reminds me of that episode of Malcolm in the Middle, the one where Lois thinks she has lost her parenting skills on her 5th boy. Hal, trying so hard to help her, decides to call Francis and see what sparked her steely demeanor with the boys in the beginning. In this scene Francis has come home to help Lois recall what went on during Francis' childhood. Francis is remembering how "colorful" their apartment was. *Note the lovely white decor when she first had the boys!
