Home Sweet Home

Hello and welcome to Home Sweet Home # 61!  I didn't want to let Easter go by and not try a tablescape.  I keep making smaller and smaller tables.  I have just put together a single place setting today, but you get the idea.

I took a vintage silver plate creamer and added some spring violets.   I was deciding on the flower to feature on this table that would evoke a spring woodland and the violet was my favorite pick.

I found this fantastic woody open weave basket this weekend it was perfect for the woodland theme.  I added reindeer moss and two eggs and it looks like the birds themselves created this Easter basket.

I will never tire of mixing rustic natural elements with formal settings.  Every one have a wonderful Easter weekend!

Now I would like to highlight some of the posts that caught my eye last week at Home Sweet Home.

Sylvia of Sylvia's Simple Life beautiful spring tea was a feast for the eyes!

Rebekah and Kandi of Woven Home shared a fantastic recipe for Chocolate Silk Cheesecake!

Jacqueline at Cabin and Cottage did a charming post on the old fashion dry goods store.

Betsy of Betsy Speert's Blog showed her tropical cottage bedroom.

Thank you to all who join me at Home Sweet Home!   It is wonderful to have you here!
