Glazed Bacon-Wrapped Chicken

Raising teen boys, I have a new found reverence for bacon.  Appetizers that have anything to do with bacon are an entree and highly regarded in my house.  I was recently looking for new recipes and I noted that Paula Deen had the same type of experience with her two sons when she created Glazed Bacon-Wrapped Chicken.  Paula writes that she made this appetizer into a main dish and her sons were at the house.  She turned around and the plate was empty!  What is it with guys and bacon? 
Ingredients:
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup orange juice
1 tbsp hot sauce
1 1/2 tbsps finely chopped garlic
8 boneless, skinless chicken thighs (about 2lbs.), halved (*Note- I used chicken breast tenders)
8 slices of bacon
1 cup packed light brown sugar ( I didn't use this much, I just sprinkled it on as I crumbled it up from the bag, resulting in the use of much less sugar.)
In a medium bowl, combine the soy sauce, orange juice, hot sauce, and garlic.  Add the chicken to the bowl and toss to coat well with marinade.  Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees, (I used a 425 degree oven and watched turning three times).  Line a baking sheet with foil and grease a wire cooling rack or coat with cooking spray.  Place the rack on the baking sheet.  (Note* the rack would have worked well but, I didn't have one).  
Remove the chicken from the marinade, letting the excess drip off.  Wrap a bacon slice around each piece of chicken.  Secure the bacon with a toothpick.
Crumble the brown sugar into a bowl.  Dip each bacon-wrapped piece of chicken into the sugar taking care to coat evenly.  Place the chicken on the prepared rack.  Bake, turning once, until the bacon is crisp, the chicken is cooked through, about 30 minutes. (*Note- without a wire rack,you will have to drain off the juice, turn more than once, and keep an eye on it).
