A Beach Tablescape at the Blue Hour

I set up a beachy tablescape for the backyard. Can't wait for summer to finally arrive.
The sun is setting and my goal was to catch the elusive blue hour. I learned about the blue hour (website: http://bluehoursite.com/) from Susan over at Between Naps on the Porch who so generously shares her great tips with all of her followers.
I found this little picket fence at the thrift store and I keep finding many uses for it. Today I put a candle in it and surrounded it with shells.
I am really loving the dishes. The plates are from Blue Sky and I found them at TJ Maxx. The little clam shell salad came from Kohl's. The goblets are Marquis by Waterford.
The silver really went well with this tablescape, it looks very shell inspired. The silver is by Gorham and the pattern is English Gadroon.
Tea lights seem so small but they can really add a lot to your table.

Fish netting over a white linen tablecloth.
Shells I just can't get enough of them!
Twilight is near....here the glow is starting.
Ahh...here comes the blue.
I tried to identify the "star". It is on the left side of the tallest candle. I believe it is Venus, but I am not sure. It was in the NW sky last week. It was the brightest thing in the sky. Is anyone an amateur astronomer? Maybe you can help me identify this.
Well it does get very blue!
I will link this to Susan's Tablescape Thursday at her site Between Naps on the Porch.
I will also link this to Gina's Transformation Thursday at the Shabby Chic Cottage for the blue hour transformation.
