Tablescape Thursday: A Picnic

The weather Monday in the midwest was beautiful!  It was a great chance to get the kids and get out of the house and enjoy one of our most wonderful places-the lake.  So we packed up a picnic, vintage style.
We had some Anchor Hocking green plates.
The tablecloth is upholstery fabric with a button print all over it.

I used some vintage napkins with our silverware rolled up in them.  To keep it all in  place I took some soutache braid and threaded it with some old buttons to use as  napkin rings.
The fare was simple pb & j's , celery, carrots, dip, and fruit.
It just doesn't get any better than taking time out to enjoy a beautiful day.
I will join Susan at her site Between Naps on the Porch for Tablescape Thursday.
