Brown Transferware Love!

I had a lucky win a few weeks ago.  I won this giveaway from Alison at The Polohouse.
If you haven't visited her before you are in for a treat.  She lives in a polo barn and stables that have been converted into a house.  Think Ralph Lauren, this is the classic good looks you will find in this equestrian styled house. It is just gorgeous!

Alison even had these cute little tags with a polo horse on them.

So, what I won was this beautiful old brown transferware platter.

I look for brown transferware all of the time and I can never find any.  I was so excited to get this!

I also have this soap dish.

 She also gave me this cute soap imported from Sweden by her friend.

And these sweet little puppy salt and peppers.   Thank you again Alison!  I am a very proud owner of these goodies and the transferware.

Blog Wins

I have to blog about a few blog wins and give some credit to some talented ladies out there.
First up is this adorable little pillow created by Abundant Haven.   Susan who owns Abundant Haven creates pillows to "comfort the home and soul."   Susan has wedding pillows and decor pillows, including many French designs.  Check out her shop it is very well stocked and full of great ideas.  I won this pillow at Larissa Hill Designs this blog owned by Heather who is paying it forward each week with a spotlight on an Etsy shop and a giveaway by that shop.  Heather is also a very talented lady with many fun DIY ideas.  Check out her blog, you'll be glad you did.

Attached to each Abundant Haven pillow is a vintage key charm....a reminder to "open every door" to peace and abundance in your home.

Next, I won a bag from Linda who owns the blog Linsueray and the Etsy shop Linsueray.  Linda is very talented seamstress with the cutest handmade bags ever.  You have to go check her out if your needing a bag.  You will be amazed at her unique and adorable designs.

She appliqued this design on the front of my bag for fall.  I was very impressed with the amazing skill and talent that went into this bag.

My bag also had a cute contrasting lining, a pocket, and her "handmade by linsueray" tag.

The last win I need to blog about is a beautiful teacup I won over at Martha' s Favorites.

If you haven't been to Martha's blog, each Tuesday she has a linky party  Teacup Tuesday that she hosts with her friend Terri.  Between them I think they have one of the most amazing teacup collections in the blogosphere.  Martha also sells some of her teacups at her website Pretty Vintage Things.

Martha even included a lovely piece of vintage bling with my teacup that I wore on my lapel on Christmas Eve.  She also has an amazing collection of vintage costume jewelry.  Check out her blog too, you'll be glad you did.

Last month I was very fortunate to have several blog wins.  I would like to show you what I won and give a shout out to these generous and talented people.  I won this charm bracelet from Jill at Gypsy Brocante.   If you haven't visited her before, please go and visit this talented lady who can take repurposed pieces and make some of the most amazing jewelry.  

Next, I visited Simone at Doberman's by the Sea and won this beautiful sea inspired necklace made by Heather of Simple Daisy.  She personalized it with my initial and there is even a little sea glass charm at the clasp to hang down the back of your neck.  Don't you love this!  Thank you talented ladies who enrich our lives daily with their creativity!  Go and visit these ladies you will be glad you did.
