I have a Italian themed dinner for two featuring Spode's Blue Italian. I was watching Anthony Bourdain on the Travel Channel this week and he was in an Italian market describing how everything about the way they presented their food was supposed to seduce you into wanting to buy it. Well, I don't know if we have that exact knack in our American markets, but I tried to capture that in this tablescape.
This chalk Cherub statue was a great find on Ebay. It actually came in broken and I glued every piece that I could back together. It was insured so I only paid shipping on it.
Dinner Plate: Spode- Blue Italian
Goblet: The Cellar for Macy's
Silver: Gorham- English Gadroon
Thank You for stopping by to view my tablescape. Please join me next Thursday when I create another table for you.
