Spooky Trees for Halloween

Here is an effect that I used in this week's decor that is easy to do.  I took a tree branch from our yard and spray painted with ORB or black spray paint and it gives the effect of a creepy tree silhouetteI tied raffia to each end and then hung it from the single hook above the table that holds the candle chandelier.  It makes a hanging centerpiece.  You could decorate it with anything.

I did the same with the tree branch against the wall.  Spray painted it black and propped it up against the wall.  I have a black piece of ribbon about 2 inches wrapped around the branches main stem and it is holding the tree branch in place with a push pin to the wall.  The pin is behind the branch so it doesn't show.  I have a post on the fence silhouette here.  These are really easy and cheap decorations that create a fun look for Halloween.

Here is the tree after it has been up a few weeks and my youngest has decorated it.  It also works very well with the lights.
